Find Victory in Your Life

HMS_Victory_sinking

Do you feel like your life is crashing down around you; like you are on a sinking ship?  Life doesn’t have to weigh you down. Everyone has good days and bad days, but if you feel like the burden is too heavy then I encourage you to give it all to God!  I know, it sounds so easy, yet feels so hard.  He is there waiting though.  He wants to lighten your load and help you carry the burden.  All we have to do is ask for His assistance from the depth of our hearts and leave it in His hands!

Let’s look at some examples of those in Scripture praying for VICTORY in their lives.

2 Chronicles 14:11 And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.

Here we see Asa is telling God, “It’s nothing for you to help! You are all powerful.  It doesn’t matter how large the army you battle, you have the power to overcome.”  Next he asks God for help.  He is admitting that in and of himself and his army they are nothing without God.  God is the only one who can make a difference in this battle.  He closes with, “O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against YOU.”  By reading this prayer we can see that Asa is completely relying on God.  He is acknowledging that he wants God to fight this battle for him and without God they will probably lose the battle.

2 Chronicles 14:12 So the LORD routed the Ethiopians before Asa and before Judah, and the Ethiopians fled.…

God heard Asa’s prayer and he answered!  With God’s help Asa and Judah won this battle.

1 Samuel 17:47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

The battle is the Lord’s, we just need to ask Him for help.  We need to step back and let him take control.  I am telling you that you can have victory in your life.  You do not have to war alone.  Surrender it all to God.  Allow him to fight the battle for you.

Psalm 18:6  In my distress I called on the LORD, and cried to my God: he heard

Psalm 22:5 They cried to you, and were delivered: they trusted in you, and were …

Psalm 34:6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him

Humble yourselves before God right now and ask Him to grant you victory over the battle you are facing in your life right now.  He is faithful and longs to help us.  Surrender your burdens to him.  He LOVES you and just as you would do anything for your children, He, too, will take care of you!

I would like to pray with you now.

Father,  I thank you that you fight our battles for us and offer victory to us.  I lift each reader and their family up to you now and I ask you to bring VICTORY into their lives.  Lord, if the battle is financial, health, or relationships….whatever it may be, I ask you to bring victory into their lives.  Fill this need. Please place a hedge of protection around each one so that no harm comes from them. Increase their borders, Lord and as Asa prayed, let no man prevail again you!  In Jesus name.  Amen.

Blessings,

Regina

About Pastor Regina

Pastor Regina Sanders is a wife, mother, pastor, author, and teacher of Scripture. In January 2016 the Lord blessed her with an international satellite radio broadcast, allowing her to be heard beyond the borders of the United States. She was heard in places such as Hong Kong, Germany, and Canada. This broadcast lasted only about 4 ½ months as she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer in May of 2016. Pastor Regina smiles and says, “God has a sense of humor. I was teaching a group about coming out of their shell of introversion. I was writing another book on this topic, and I had this radio broadcast, as well as, my weekly YouTube uploads, and I found myself in the hospital for 11 days. Upon coming home, I found myself either in the bed or on the couch unable to continue with the tasks I had before me. Lord, you healed me of introversion, and I find myself feeling completely isolated…” Today, Pastor Regina shares her journey through the valley of the shadow of death.
